!!! We LOVE how the veg tan leather 'patinas' over time, but this is a natural occurrence of the leather which you will surely love as well! However, these are not intended for those muddy day hikes or frequent swimming pups out there - these veg tan leather leashes and collars are more likely to get stained easily in these kinds of environments and would risk ruining this item.
