'Greening Your Pet Care' - How To!

Greening Your Pet Care
Reduce Your Animal's Environmental Paw Print
Book written by Darcy Matheson
We recently received this excellent reference book written by Darcy Matheson, a local 'Vancouverite' who is a local television journalist, dog blogger, writer for Vancity Buzz, and now author of her very first book "Greening Your Pet Care". She's really a busy lady, and we just so happen to love her and her relationship wiht her two pups.
We were lucky enough to be chosen to review her first book, and it is FULL of excellent pointers, ideas, and creative solutions to reducing your environmental foot print by changing and thinking about what and how you purchase things, how you clean your home, to pet adoption options or even get rid of your pets waste. There's sections of the book dedicated to specific domesticated pets - from dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and even mini pigs!
There are some great topics, and suggestions that many of us may not have even thought about or considered to do when it comes to taking care of our pets on a daily basis. This book is really full of great advice and is all about making our world a better place, so naturally we were excited to read this!
At the end of the book you will also find a useful Download Kit that includes things like DIY recipes and projects for flea collars, dog shampoos, cleaning products, to even building your own dog-waste composter.
The download also includes some useful Checklists to help you question yourself on things like "Should I Buy It?" , and "Should I Adopt a Pet?".
All-in-all this is a great reference book, educational, and interesting to read if you are animal lover of all kinds :D
If you would like to buy the book for yourself, you can purchase it here on Amazon- it's definitely worth a read!
